I am saying adios to the US tomorrow, and will be adventuring in the Mediterranean! I have been looking forward to this trip for QUITE some time because it signifies not only getting to celebrate finishing my last semester of grad school, and recently turning 24 (last week), but Brooks and I will also get to celebrate our 1 year anniversary while we are gone! I am going to be with 7 other people, all of which are very close to my heart, including my parents and some very close family friends. I’m really excited to get away and I hope and pray that I will allow myself to truly enjoy it and not stress about everything I should be doing at home. I’m already feeling guilty about it, but I think I can finally say after this semester that I DESERVE IT! Plus, since I’m done with grad school..I’m now in the real world and will be a working therapist (LPC) from here on out. No more Spring Breaks, Summer Breaks, or Christmas Breaks….YIKES! I’ve got to make the most of this trip because once I’m back I have to dive into my 300 hour practicum/1800 hour internship. haha! I DON’T WANNA GROW UP! I haven’t been to Europe since ‘05, so I cannot WAIT to get back over there! Anyway, if you know me then you know I’m going to take a TON of pictures (I’m taking 3 cameras with me), but I won’t be able to post any while I’m gone since most of the trip will be on a cruise. I’ll be excited to share my adventures with you when I get back in the states! Here is the itinerary of the places that I’ll be, just in case y’all were curious:
